Women of all ages, body types and fitness levels will be discovering a results oriented driven workout that combines resistance training, cardio training using a variety of fitness equipment, nutrition, accountability and real-time information about their performance levels using the Polar Cardio GX System.
Polar Cardio GX displays individual heart rate data onscreen, motivating members to exercise at the right intensity and get the most out of their workouts.
Live data – which includes beats per minute, percentage of heart rate max. and intensity zones – appears onscreen at all times, in the context of others in the class. Polar Cardio GX provides constant visual feedback, which motivates participants to push themselves or ease off accordingly to achieve personal goals.
‘RED ZONE TRAINING‘ for women only, is taken to a higher level, offering a more dynamic and interactive experience for participants.
Gables Fitness uses scientifically proven concepts and strategies to challenge your body. Led by a trainer, women complete full body workout in 40 minutes. This workout helps build strength, increase energy, improve your cardiovascular system and if fat loss is a goal you will notice inches lost and clothes fitting better.
Red Zone Training workouts will be broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training, using a variety of equipment including Cybex Arc Trainer, rowing machines, free weights, medicine balls, kettle bells, resistance bands and so much more and we will be doing this with heart rate monitored training designed by Polar to keep your heart rate in target zones that increase metabolism, burn calories and help you reshape your body.
Each workout is based on scientific exercise progression and sound physiological principles. Within weeks, you’ll notice a difference in your strength, your energy, your overall fitness level and your clothes will fit better. This is combined with a fun, high energy environment provided at our Gables Fitness Facility in our newly expanded workout area.
Participants complete three 5 to 20 minute intervals during the 40 minutes while their performance levels will be monitored live on a screen.
On Days You Don’t Perform Zone Training
You have full access to our cardio equipment at our Gables Fitness Facility or you can purchase Spinning or Kickboxing Packages, so that on days you are resting from the full body workout that Zone Training delivers, you can supplement this training and keep the fat burning process going.
Successful weight loss or maintenance programs cannot be achieved without supportive nutrition. Gables Fitness staff educates you on the concept of eating small frequent meals every 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
No deprivation or trendy diet plan. The nutritional component is all about common sense nutrition to increase your energy, your metabolism, enhance your health and achieve the goals you desire.
- In 30 days, you’ll increase energy and notice a weight loss difference of 4 to 8 pounds.

Her Strategy:
Maricela participated in The Women’s Fit Club, which is now the Red Zone Training program. She participates 3 days a week with no additional cardio training. Consistency and constant challenge of this program is a factor for her success. Along with consistent, progressive exercise that includes a combination of resistance training and cardio training is the nutritional component of our program. She has adapted eating small frequent, small meals every 3 to 3 1/2 hours. She has made modifications in her alcohol consumption as well.
What’s next:
